Mindy Stinchfield and
Carrie Markel each won two races as Colorado College posted a 149-49 victory over McMurry University on Friday night at Schlessman Natatorium.
Stinchfield began the meet by shaving .07 seconds off her own season-best time in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 26.12.
In her next event, Stinchfield was less than a half second behind her top effort in the 100 free, winning the race with a time of 57.40.
She finished the day by helping CC's winning team in the 200 free relay team post a time of 1:49.09.
Markel won the 200 free with a time of 2:07.13 and the 500 free with a mark of 5:47.09.
Whitney Petersen posted a season-best time in the 200 individual medley by clocking in at 2:24.44.
Nicole Fazio took first place on both the 1- and 3-meter boards, and Julia Rubenstein's time of 1:06.11 was good for first place in the 100 butterfly, giving CC victories in nine of 10 individual events and one of two relays.
Colorado College and McMurry will be back in the pool tomorrow when they swim against Adams State at Schlessman Natatorium.
