Zazzaro to Coach at USILA All-Star Game

David Zazzaro, who recently completed his eighth season as head coach of the Colorado College men’s lacrosse team, has been named an assistant coach for the 2009 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III North/South Game.
Zazzaro will assist his former collegiate coach, Drew University’s Tom Leanos. Zazzaro played midfielder for the Rangers from 1988-91 and was selected to play in the USILA All-Star game following his senior season.
Zazzaro is making his second appearance in the game as a coach. He was named a co-head coach in 2001 during his final season at Colby College.
Zazzaro led Colorado College to a 9-5 record during the 2009 campaign.
The Division III contest will be the first of three games on Friday, May 22, at Harvard Stadium. The triple header starts at 2 p.m., with the Division I/II game scheduled for a 4 p.m. faceoff. The day concludes with a Major League Lacrosse game between the Denver Outlaws and Boston Canons at 7:30 p.m.
