McGee, Moore pace CC at New Mexico Invite

Molly McGee and Brittney Moore combined for four of five top-10 finishes to pace Colorado College on Saturday at the University of New Mexico’s Don Kirby Invitational in Albuquerque.
McGee finished seventh in the 800-meter run with a season-best time of 2:31.05, which was 1.69 seconds ahead of Chelsea Herzog who came home in 10th.
In the 400-meter dash, Moore’s time of 59.62 was good for seventh place and was only .21 off the fifth-place time.
Moore recorded the Tigers’ best finish of the day by taking fifth in the triple jump with an effort of 36 feet, 9.75 inches.
She also took eighth place in the long jump with a leap of 17 feet, 2 inches.
Colorado College travels to Southern California next Saturday for the Occidental Invitational.
