Dan Solomon was named to the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tennis team for the second time in his career after leading Colorado College to a sixth-place finish at the 2009 SCAC Championships.
Solomon, ranked No. 13 in the West Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, finished the season with a team-leading 14-4 record at No. 1 singles.
The senior from Los Gatos, Calif., was the only player to post a 4-0 record at this year's conference tournament and did so without losing a set. That performance earned him a spot on the all-tournament team.
Solomon, who finished his collegiate career with a 6-0 singles record at the SCAC Championships, previously won both of his tournament matches as a sophomore in 2007. He was an all-tournament selection in both singles and doubles that year after also posting a 3-0 mark at No. 1 doubles with partner Paul Warning.
