Cashing in on a pair of corner kicks early in the match, Colorado College got off to a roaring start on Friday and never looked back.
Sophomore defender
Beth Wright scored a goal and assistied on another in the opening 13 minutes of play, igniting the Tigers to a 4-0 victory over the University of New Hampshire at Stewart Field.
With its third consecutive shutout, CC remained undefeated (4-0-1) at home this season and raised its overall record to 4-2-1 heading into Sunday's 2009 non-conference finale against Cal Poly.

“We knew going in that New Hampshire was a team that would work very hard and make things difficult for us,” said head coach
Geoff Bennett, who was able to utilize 19 different players in the whitewashing. “I'm very proud of the way we handled that pressure. We capitalized on some chances, and now we just need to get ready to play Cal Poly on Sunday.”
Wright skated the Tigers to a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute of play when her third of nine corner kicks for the afternoon sneaked inside the near post off the hands of leaping UNH goalkeeper Ally Yost. It was the first goal of Wright's collegiate career, Later in the opening half, Baer clicked on a header of another Wright corner kick to bump the lead to 2-0.
Beans made it 3-0 just 2:25 into the second half off a feed from Brown, then returned the favor at 54:55 as Brown found the far corner of the net from 14 yards out after being set up on the right side.
CC finished with a 21-7 advantage in overall shots attempted. Yost made eight saves for the Wildcats, who dropped to 1-5-1 for the season.
