Nick Rose added to his list of weekly awards by being named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week for his efforts during last week's final home games of the season.
On Monday, he was named Player of the Week by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference for the third time this season.
Rose averaged 32.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals to help the Tigers maintain a one-game lead over Millsaps College in the battle for fourth place in the SCAC's Western Division and the final spot in the conference's postseason tournament.
The junior guard posted 32 points, four rebounds and three steals as the Tigers defeated Southwestern University, 81-67, on Friday. He came back with 33 points, seven rebounds and two steals the following night in a 79-78 overtime loss to Trinity University.
It marked the second time this season he scored 30 or more points in back-to-back games and the fifth time overall.
Rose leads the SCAC in scoring, averaging 21.4 points per game, and in free-throw percentage at .869. He also ranks eighth with a .447 field-goal percentage and is 11th in rebounding, averaging 5.7 per game.
In the latest NCAA Division III statistics, Rose climbed to No. 20 in scoring and No. 33 in free-throw percentage.
Rose also moved up two places on CC's all-time scoring list, finishing the weekend with 918 career points, and needs just seven more to become the 14th Tiger to score 500 or more points in a single season.
Colorado College travels to Millsaps and Hendrix College for the final games of the regular season on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
