Colorado College saw it's season come to a disappointing conclusion with a 92-66 loss at Hendrix College on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers finished the year tied for fourth with Southwestern University in the Western Division of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 6-10 mark, but the Pirates won the tie breaker with a better record in division play and earned the final spot in next weekend's SCAC Tournament in Jackson, Miss.
In her final game for CC, senior forward Laura Glen scored a career-high 20 points and added a team-high nine rebounds.
Becky Luetjen finished with 11 points and became the 17th player in the program's history to score 400 or more in a season. She finished the year with 410 points, which ranks No. 14 on CC's single-season list.
Hannah Hoopingarner reached double-figures for the third time this year with 10 points.
The Tigers trailed 38-30 after Glen made a pair of free throws 1:48 into the second half, but the Warriors went on a 33-6 run to open a 35-point lead with 10:42 to play.
Hoopingarner's layup capped a 19-6 run that pulled CC to within 80-58 with 2:48 to play, but that was as close as the Tigers would get.
Christina Byler exploited Colorado College's lack of size on the inside and finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds.
Anna Roane scored 15 points, while Avery Roller added 14.
The Tigers led 24-23 with 5:07 remaining in the first half when Emily Wattman-Turner drained a three-point shot, and Alyssa Aldaz tied the game at 28-28 when she sank a pair of free throws with 3:02 to go.
Hendrix grabbed the momentum by scoring the next eight points and led 36-28 after 20 minutes.
Colorado College finished the season with a 12-13 overall record.
