As another season comes to a close for Colorado College, radio coverage of Tiger Hockey continues its growing tradition of excellence.

For the second time in three years, 103.9 KRXP-FM and play-by-play announcer Ken Landau have won the Colorado Broadcasting Association's top prize for "Best Sports Coverage" in a major market.

The prestigious honor, presented last Saturday at the CBA's annual awards ceremonies, is for the 2009 calendar year.

With Landau behind the microphone, 103.9 FM has served as CC's flagship station for the last four seasons, since October 2006. They have earned recognition from the CBA for three years in a row, also earning first place in 2007 in addition to '09.
