Brittney Moore continued her mastery in the triple jump on Saturday, claiming third place at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championships with a season-best effort of 35 feet, 7 3/4 inches.
Moore earned all-SCAC recognition with the performance while helping the Tigers finish eighth in the team standings with 18.5 points.
Hannan Concannon also turned in a strong showing in the same event, tying for seventh at 34 feet, 4 1/4 inches. Concannon earlier scored points in the long jump on Friday, sailing 17-2 1/4 to finish sixth.
CC also scored in the 4x400-meter relay, taking fifth, as well as in the 800 and 5,000 meters. Nikki Steinciek too seventh in the 800 meters with a time of 2:22.25, almost two seconds faster than Moore's ninth-place 2:24.21, while
Devin Nadar was seventh in the 5,000 with a clocking of 19:35.41.
Rebecca Thompson followed close behind Nadar in ninth place with a 19:40.49 showing in the 5K.
In all, the Lady Tigers established 14 season bests and set seven personal records at the league meet.
Rhodes College grabbed the team title with 228.5 points.
