Maggie Defanti was named to the IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-West Region second team after leading the Tigers to an 8-5 record during the 2010 season.

Defanti, a senior midfielder, paced CC with career highs of 18 goals and 24 points. She also led the team with three game-winning goals and tied for second with six assists.

At the defensive end, she tied for second with 11 caused turnovers and tied for fifth with 11 draw controls.

Defanti scored a career-high five goals during the 14-13 victory over Skidmore College.

She tied her career high with five points, scoring three times and adding a pair of assists, to help CC come from behind to post an 18-11 win against Sewanee in the final game of her career.

Defanti also caused three turnovers, grabbed nine ground balls and added three draw controls during that game.
