Running neck and neck, not far from mid-season form, Maggie Harkins and Devin Nadar ushered in the 2010 season in impressive fashion on Saturday.

The two juniors paced a CC contingent of five runners at an open time trial event in Boulder, each clocking in with a time of 24:21 on a 5.8-kilometer course south of the University of Colorado campus.  

Nadar and Harkins finished 14 and 15th, respectively, in the event, which marked the team's first competition of the campaign. Seniors Molly McGee and Louisa Tur, along with junior Rebecca Thompson, also participated.

Tur claimed 17th place overall with a time of 24:42. Thompson was 19th at 25:44 and McGee 20th at 26:20.

The Tigers resume action on Saturday, Sept. 11, at the CU-Colorado Springs Rust Buster Invitational in Monument Valley Park before serving as hosts of their own annual Colorado College Invitational there a week later.
