Becky Luetjen was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week after leading the Colorado College women's basketball team to a split against Centre College and Sewanee last weekend.
This is Luetjen's first weekly award this season and fourth of her career.
Luetjen led the team averaging 17.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 3.5 steals and 2 blocks per game to help the Tigers improve to 5-2 in the SCAC's West Division.
The senior forward scored a season-high 28 points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season during CC's 72-68 loss to Centre. Luetjen also tied her career-high five steals and added a team-high four assists and two blocks during Friday's game against the Colonels.
Luetjen finished the week with a team-high nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals during the Tigers' 53-49 victory over Sewanee. She also chipped in seven points during the team's win on Sunday.
Colorado College (9-7) travels to Millsaps College and Rhodes College this Friday and Sunday, respectively.
