was named West Region Coach of the Year by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association after guiding Colorado College to a 13-6 record during the 2014 season.
It marked the fourth time Stuart received the award during her 19-year tenure with the Tigers. She also was honored in 2001, 2004 and 2005.
"They really should call the award Staff of the Year," Stuart said. "We had a great coaching staff with the additions of Katie Trainor
and Lynz Keys Bolton, and our combined experience helped us have a spectacular season."
Despite featuring a starting lineup that featured a pair of freshman defenders and a first-year starter in goal, Stuart and her cohorts helped CC bounce back from a 7-10 record in 2013.
Stuart collected career victory No. 200 with a 17-14 triumph at Drew University on April 17. With 13 wins, the 2014 squad tied for second on the program's single-season list.
Close triumphs at Chapman University and Occidental College helped the Tigers climb to eighth in the final NCAA West Region poll.
Two of Colorado College's six losses were against NCAA Division III tournament teams while two others were against Division II opponents.
"We're fortunate to have great players who make our job so enjoyable," Stuart said. "We're very excited the staff will return intact for the 2015 season."
