One of only five Colorado College players to skate in all 41 games, Connelly solidified his role as one of CC’s most consistent blue-line specialists with a +15 plus-minus rating for the season...continued to develop as an offensive threat, assisting on a team-high seven game-winning goals including three in key WCHA road victories at North Dakota, St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth...tied for third among all Tigers with 10 points (1g,9a) on the power play for the second consecutive campaign, while taking only 16 minor penalties.
2006-07: Nailed down a spot among the team’s regular six defensemen early during his rookie season and finished second among all CC freshmen with 17 points, including 10 (1g,9a) on the power play...also an effective penalty killer...assisted on three game-winning goals in victories over Alabama-Huntsville, Alaska Anchorage and North Dakota.
HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS: Connelly collected 28 points (9g,19a) in 59 games with the Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League in 2005-06...previously starred at Bloomington Jefferson High School, where he won a conference scoring championship with 63 points (18g,45a) as a senior team captain in 2004-05...also earned all-state, all-metro and all-conference honors as a prep, in addition to emerging as a finalist for Minnesota’s “Mr. Hockey” Award.
